Sensors for absorption measurement
By optimising the optical unit, EXNER's transmitted light sensors can now be used as standard up to a process pressure of 16 bar.
Why should high-quality sensors that are already successfully used in various applications be made even better? This question was raised when optimising the optical unit of all sensors for absorption measurement. The answer: Continuous product optimisation with users in mind and increasing safety and reliability when using the product.
By optimising the optical unit of the sensors for absorption measurement, even higher processing quality could be achieved. This now makes it possible, among other things, to use the sensors as standard up to a process pressure of 16 bar.
All sensors for absorption measurement in the EXcell, EXplore 131 and EXspect 231 series benefit from the optimisations described. Last year, by improving the optical unit in the backscatter sensors in the EXplore 131 and EXspect 271 series, a permissible process pressure of 20 bar could be achieved.
